"No Matter What You Step In, Keep Walking Along And Singing Your Song"

What a week! All 3 kids were on the nebulizer. They shared a lovely viral illness and you know how that ends.... Yup! In a flare. It's not our first time to this rodeo but the timing couldn't have been  worse; not that there's ever a GOOD time to be in a flare. Chiara was scheduled to compete at the Mathcounts Regional competition last weekend. After months of hard work & preparation, she woke up the morning of with a 103 fever and could not compete. Camryn & Luca were due to perform in a talent show at the end of the week. After all the auditioning & rehearsing, we were hopeful we had time to get it all under control but it wasn't looking too promising. You see, even after staying vigilant with the nebs & doing the sinus washes multiple times a day, Cam ended up with Bronchitis. We went along that week as if they were going to perform, and in the end they were able to go on with the show! As I sat with a grateful heart at the Talent Show, I was quite taken by a little Kindergartener's performance of, Pete The Cat's White Shoes!
The moral of Pete's story is: "No matter what you step in, keep walking along and singing your song. Because it's all good."
I am so proud of Camryn, Chiara & Luca's resilience in dealing with their asthma.  No doubt it isn't easy having a chronic condition but we must keep walking along and singing our song!
