Lesson Learned: NEVER stop taking your asthma control medicine

Hi! I'm Chiara! I'm almost 13 and love to play basketball. I know asthma can be a scary thing, but something can help you! Taking your medicine is REALLY important! There was a period of time where I didn't take my medicine, it reminded me of all the attacks and coughing. During that time I wasn't taking medicine, I was playing basketball and had a full-out asthma attack on the court. That attack helped me realize just how important your asthma control medicine is. I don't want you to have to have an asthma attack  to realize just how important your medicine really is! I can't wait to blog and share my asthma experiences! :)
Remember: always let your parents and doctor know if you aren't taking your medicine and talk about how you are feeling

Question of the Day: Have you ever stopped taking your medicine, if so, why?
